Wayne Bateman

Wayne Bateman is an accomplished finance executive and former Certified Public Accountant with more than 30 years of experience across private equity–backed companies, start-ups, and high-growth environments. He has led financial operations, strengthened organizational infrastructure, and guided companies through expansion, operational change, and strategic transitions.

Wayne’s background includes senior leadership roles overseeing finance, accounting, and operational functions for multi-state organizations, where he built high-performing teams, improved reporting and controls, and supported corporate growth initiatives. He began his career in public accounting, managing audit, tax, and internal control engagements across diverse industries.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Valdosta State University.

Jesus “Chuy” Moreno

Jesus “Chuy” Moreno is a sales and operations professional with over eight years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on chemical services and midstream facility support. His background spans both upstream and midstream operations, giving him a well-rounded understanding of field execution, production challenges, and customer-driven solutions.

Chuy began his career in the field as a service technician, where he developed a strong technical foundation and firsthand experience supporting operations. He later transitioned into account management and leadership roles, where he played a key role in growing accounts, generating revenue, and building long-term customer partnerships.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering and a Master of Business Administration from The University of Texas Permian Basin.

Originally from a small town near Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, and Crane, Texas, Chuy enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and staying engaged in technology and gaming.

Glenn Conner

Glenn Conner is a seasoned oilfield and construction professional with a career built on a foundation of discipline, leadership, and hands-on expertise. Before entering construction and roofing industry, Glenn spent over 14 years on the drilling rigs where he was responsible for the safety, operations, and supervision of the drilling crews. That managerial experience instilled in him a rigorous commitment to safety as well as the organizational and leadership skills required to manage complex, high-stakes projects from the ground up. His years of hands-on and managerial experience have given him an extensive knowledge of equipment and managing multiple departments, equipping him with everything needed to drive a company toward success.

Glenn has since channeled that same work ethic into the roofing and construction industry, building an impressive track record across project management and sales management roles. As the founder of GNJ Paint & Remodel and previously serving as Rig Manager, Glenn brings a comprehensive understanding of every phase of a project — from initial inspection and bidding to crew oversight and client satisfaction. His clients benefit from the rare combination of a proven field operator and a driven sales professional who holds safety and quality to the highest standard.

He is a devoted family man. He enjoys spending time on the golf course and at the lake with his son and his wife of 15 years.

Casen Presgrove

Casen Presgrove serves as the Regional Field Operations Manager at Midwest Compressor Systems. With a strong foundation built through hands-on field experience and leadership in high demand environments, Casen brings both technical expertise and operational insight to his role.

He began his career immediately after high school at the Ardmore Valero Refinery, where he worked as a pipeline radiographer and boilermaker. During his time at the refinery, he participated in multiple large scale plant turnarounds, leading crews and overseeing critical job scopes to ensure projects were completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. These experiences sharpened his technical skillset and developed his ability to manage high pressure, time sensitive operations.

Casen later joined Midwest Compressor as a compressor mechanic, where he gained extensive field experience servicing and troubleshooting compression equipment across the region. His strong work ethic, mechanical expertise, and leadership in the field quickly distinguished him as a trusted resource among both customers and team members. Through hands-on service and operational support, he developed a comprehensive understanding of compressor systems, field logistics, and customer-driven solutions. The experience that now supports his leadership as Regional Field Operations Manager.

His connection to the oil and natural gas industry runs generations deep. This heritage fuels his respect for the industry, commitment to reliability, and dedication to serving the communities that depend on it.

Outside of his professional responsibilities, Casen operates a cattle production business alongside his wife, Harlie. Managing a growing cattle operation reinforces the same values he brings to his career — discipline, stewardship, resilience, and long-term vision. Whether in the field or on the ranch, he is committed to hard work, operational excellence, and building something that lasts.

Jay Miller

Jay Miller is a senior product leader and oil & gas technology innovator known for developing advanced artificial lift solutions and driving high impact product strategies. With experience spanning product management, engineering collaboration, and field validated technology development, he has led the creation of multiple patented lift systems and delivered measurable performance gains for major operators. Jay’s work blends deep technical expertise with strong commercial insight, enabling operators to adopt safer, more efficient, and more reliable production technologies. He is also a published author and recognized contributor to industry advancements in gas lift design and optimization.

Cheri Zimmerman serves as the Sales Representative for the Rocky Mountain Region at Midwest Compressor Systems, bringing over 22 years of experience in sales, account management, and business development. A native of Colorado now based in Wyoming, Cheri has built her career across a wide range of industries, including residential and commercial construction, construction equipment, and oil and gas.

Known for her data-driven approach, Cheri specializes in driving sales growth, expanding market presence, and managing long-term client relationships. Her strengths in negotiation, customer retention, and contract management have made her a trusted partner to customers throughout the region.

Cheri continues to bring energy, focus, and deep regional insight to every client interaction, helping build strong partnerships and lasting value.

Joseph “Bo” Noll joins the Midwest Compressors sales team in the Eagle Ford region, bringing over 15 years of hands-on oilfield experience and deep technical knowledge to support operators with practical, field-tested solutions.

Throughout his career, Bo has worked extensively on EOR (Enhanced Oil Recovery) wells, production facilities, and natural gas compression systems. His roles have included Vapor Recovery Technician, Lease Operator, and I&E Tech, where he was responsible for the operation, troubleshooting, and optimization of gas lift systems, VRUs, BMS controls, and air compressors. Bo also spent several years leading field electrical crews, building a well-rounded understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems critical to upstream oil and gas operations.

Bo’s unique background allows him to approach sales from an operator’s perspective—anticipating challenges, offering customized solutions, and ensuring equipment performance aligns with field demands. His commitment to uptime, safety, and operational efficiency makes him a valuable partner for customers throughout the Eagle Ford.

Dustin “Ty” Linder serves as the Manufacturing Manager at Midwest Compressor Systems, bringing over 13 years of experience in oil and gas fabrication and 10 years in supervisory roles. Ty oversees the day-to-day operations of the fabrication shop, where he leads with a people-first mindset and a strong commitment to quality, safety, and precision.

A 2012 graduate of Pampa High School and 2014 graduate of Clarendon College, Ty holds certifications in welding and blueprint reading. His professional background includes extensive experience with ASME code pressure vessels, gas compressors, oil and water tanks, and structural fabrication. Ty’s hands-on knowledge and leadership experience ensure that every project meets the highest industry standards.

Raised on a farm and ranch, Ty learned how to weld at an early age—skills that laid the foundation for his career in fabrication. Today, he combines technical expertise with practical leadership to drive efficiency and foster a collaborative team environment.

Outside of work, Ty lives in Pampa with his wife, Kolbi, and their two children, Levi and Aniston. He is an active member of Redeemer Church and enjoys cooking BBQ, collecting firearms, and studying history.

Morgan Abshire serves as the Accounts Payable Manager at Midwest Compressor Systems, a role she began in October 2023. While new to the accounting field, Morgan has quickly distinguished herself as a dedicated and detail-oriented professional. She is responsible for managing vendor payments, verifying invoice accuracy, and supporting smooth financial operations within the company.

Before joining Midwest Compressor, Morgan worked in the livestock industry, where she developed a strong work ethic, a hands-on approach to problem-solving, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments—skills that now contribute to her success in finance and administration.

Morgan is currently pursuing her degree at West Texas A&M University (WTAMU), focusing on accounting and business operations. Her commitment to professional growth and learning continues to make her a valuable and evolving member of the team.

Outside of work, Morgan enjoys spending time with her fiancé, Cutter, and their son, Cohen. She also loves solving puzzles, shopping, and relaxing with her family.

Rebecca Allec is the Accounts Receivable Manager at Midwest Compressor Systems, where she plays a vital role in managing customer accounts, issuing invoices, tracking outstanding balances, and ensuring accurate application of payments. With more than five years of experience specializing in accounts receivable and over a decade in customer service, Rebecca combines technical expertise with a strong commitment to client communication and satisfaction.

In her role, Rebecca is responsible for monitoring aging reports, resolving billing discrepancies, coordinating with customers to maintain timely collections, and supporting the broader finance team with account reconciliations and reporting. Her proactive approach helps reduce delinquencies and ensures the company maintains strong, long-term relationships with its customer base.

Known for her precision, patience, and follow-through, Rebecca brings a high level of organization to every task. She is a key contributor to the company’s cash flow management and a dependable point of contact for both internal departments and external customers.

Lance Miller serves as a Regional Field Operations Manager at Midwest Compressor Systems, bringing over 30 years of diverse experience across technical, operational, and leadership roles. His career began in the U.S. Navy, where he developed advanced expertise in electrical and electronic engineering; skills that laid the groundwork for a successful transition into industrial mechanical engineering, refrigeration, and facilities management.

His deep technical background, paired with strong organizational and leadership capabilities, makes him a vital asset in supporting field service operations and ensuring project success across the region.

Patrick Jarrels serves as Director of Field Services at Midwest Compressor Systems, bringing over 30 years of combined experience in leadership, technical operations, and field management. A proud U.S. Armed Forces veteran, Patrick served 15 years in the military, where he developed the discipline, strategic thinking, and operational focus that continue to influence his leadership style today.

Following his military service, Patrick built an impressive 18-year career in the oil and gas sector. His hands-on expertise includes production operations, construction, and the operation of semi-trucks, cranes, compressors, and a wide range of heavy industrial equipment. This deep technical knowledge makes our company especially capable in complex and demanding field environments.

Patrick holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management and Ethics from Mid-America Christian University and an Associate’s degree in Education. His academic background, coupled with real-world leadership, enables us to deliver high-integrity, high-performance solutions to every project we undertake.

Monty Nelson serves as the Operations Supervisor at Midwest Compressor Systems, bringing more than 30 years of experience in the oilfield industry. His career spans both technical and customer-facing roles, giving him a comprehensive understanding of field operations, equipment solutions, and strategic team leadership.

Monty began his career with Halliburton Energy Services, where he built a strong technical foundation and gained firsthand knowledge of oilfield operations. He went on to spend 23 years as Area Sales Manager at Kimray Sales and Service, where he led regional sales efforts, built long-standing client relationships, and consistently exceeded performance goals by aligning customer needs with practical, result-oriented solutions.

In his current role at Midwest Compressor Systems, Monty focuses on optimizing day-to-day operations, improving service delivery, and supporting field teams with the guidance and tools they need to succeed. He is known for his strategic mindset, collaborative leadership style, and commitment to operational excellence.

Monty’s dedication to the industry, paired with his decades of experience, makes him a key contributor to the continued growth and reliability of Midwest Compressor’s operations.

Nathan Ohsfeldt joined Midwest Compressor as Warehouse Manager in February 2024, bringing with him a background in the funeral industry. In his current role, he oversees inventory management, purchasing, and all shipping and receiving operations. Nathan is committed to maintaining an efficient and organized warehouse environment and works diligently to ensure that customer needs are met promptly and accurately.

Erin Palacio is the Chief Operating Officer and engages in a growing and diversified workforce. Throughout her career, Erin has worked in a broad range of industries including healthcare, banking, energy and municipal government.

She is responsible for leading our employee strategy initiatives and collaborates with leaders to develop policies and programs that advance Midwest Compressor Systems mission and is an established leader in linking people programs to business objectives. She is an advocate of building leaders, culture, and success in the teams she pours into. Erin is a results-focused leader who helps to harness the power of one of Midwest Compressor Systems most valuable assets – their people.

Erin earned a bachelor’s degree in business and an MBA from Wayland Baptist University.  She has also obtained her Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification from HRCI.

Buddy serves as the Sales Representative for Texas at Midwest Compressor Systems, where he focuses on building strong customer relationships and delivering customized solutions across the region. Originally from Borger, Texas, Buddy brings a personable and dependable approach to sales, grounded in a genuine understanding of his clients’ needs and the demands of the oil and gas industry.

He and his wife, Jessica, have been married since 2008. Jessica is a dedicated Special Education teacher with Amarillo ISD. Together, they share a love for their two dogs, Cooper and Alice, and enjoy spending quality time outdoors. In his free time, Buddy is an avid archer and enjoys cooking for family and friends.

Buddy’s approachable demeanor, paired with a strong work ethic, makes him a trusted partner to customers throughout the MidContinet Region.

David Abshire is the Owner and Chief Executive Officer of Midwest Compressor Systems. A native of Chickasha, Oklahoma, David brings more than 20 years of hands-on experience in the oil and gas industry, with a proven track record in operations, leadership, and business development. Since acquiring Midwest Compressor in 2020, he has led the company through a period of strategic growth, emphasizing customer service, technical excellence, and operational efficiency.

David’s career began in the field as a mechanic, where he developed a deep understanding of compressor systems and field service operations. His dedication and expertise quickly earned him promotions to director of parts sales and later vice president at a leading natural gas compression company. Under his leadership at Midwest Compressor, the company has expanded its capabilities and strengthened its reputation across the MidContinent Region.

His impact on the industry was recently recognized in Gas Compression Magazine, a premier publication highlighting key voices and innovations in the field.

Beyond his professional pursuits, David is a devoted family man with three children and one grandson. He is also an active supporter of his local community in Pampa, Texas. David has served as a board member and coach for the Pampa Soccer Association and regularly participates in civic events and local initiatives. His leadership style reflects the values of hard work, integrity, and service; both in business and in everyday life.
